Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the access to and use of the PlayBall platform, including mobile applications, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by PLAYBALL PLATFORM FZ-LLC, a company established in the United Arab Emirates, Meydan Free Zone, Dubai (“PlayBall”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms

For the purposes of these Terms:

• “User” means any individual accessing or using the Platform, including players, game hosts, and corporate users.
• “Game” means any football match or sporting activity organised through the Platform.
• “Game Host” means an independent individual facilitating the organisation and operation of Games.
• “Venue” means a third-party facility where Games are conducted.
• “Booking” means a confirmed reservation to participate in a Game.

PlayBall operates as a hybrid service provider and platform, organising and facilitating football games while enabling Users to discover, book, and participate in such activities.

PlayBall coordinates venue bookings and overall game logistics; however, participation in any Game is subject to availability and operational factors. All Games are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed.

The Platform is intended for individuals aged 18 years or older. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities conducted under it.

PlayBall reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.

5.1 Booking

Users may book Games through the Platform. A booking is confirmed upon successful payment.

5.2 Pricing

All pricing is determined by PlayBall and may vary depending on location, time, and demand.

5.3 Payment

Payments are processed via third-party providers (including Stripe). PlayBall does not store full payment card details.

5.4 Fees

Prices may include service-related fees. These may not always be itemised separately.

6.1 User Cancellations

Users may cancel a booking up to 10 hours prior to the scheduled Game start time.

• Cancellations made within this period will be credited to the User’s account.
• Cancellations made after this period are non-refundable, unless the User’s place is filled from the waiting list.

6.2 No-Shows

Failure to attend a Game without cancellation will result in:

• No refund
• Possible account warnings or restrictions

6.3 Game Cancellation

If a Game is cancelled by PlayBall or due to insufficient players:

• Users will receive a full refund or credit 

Where Games are fully booked, Users may join a waiting list. If a spot becomes available, it may be allocated to Users on the waiting list.

PlayBall does not guarantee placement from the waiting list.

New Users may be eligible for a one-time free trial period of fourteen (14) days from account creation.

PlayBall reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or restrict the free trial at its discretion.

PlayBall offers subscription-based memberships in addition to pay-per-game access.

• Subscriptions may be billed periodically
• Auto-renewal may apply unless cancelled
• Users may cancel or freeze memberships subject to plan conditions
• Unused benefits may expire in accordance with the applicable plan

PlayBall may offer a referral programme allowing Users to invite others to the Platform.

• Referral rewards may be granted as follows:
  • 1 referral: up to 5% benefit
  • 3 referrals: up to 15% benefit
  • 5 referrals: up to 25% benefit

Referral benefits are subject to conditions set by PlayBall and may vary.

PlayBall strictly prohibits abuse of the referral system. Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, or fraudulently benefit from referrals may result in:

• Suspension or termination of the User’s account
• Removal or invalidation of referral benefits

Users agree to:

• Behave respectfully towards other users, hosts, and staff
• Refrain from abusive, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour
• Comply with the rules of each Game

PlayBall reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, repeated no-shows, or fraudulent activity.

Game Hosts are independent contractors responsible for facilitating Games. They are not employees of PlayBall.

Venues are third-party providers, and PlayBall does not control their facilities.

PlayBall makes reasonable efforts to ensure quality but does not guarantee the condition, safety, or suitability of venues.

Participation in sports activities involves inherent risks, including risk of injury.

By participating in any Game, Users:

• Acknowledge and accept all associated risks
• Agree that participation is at their own risk

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayBall shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury
• Loss or damage to property
• Incidents occurring during Game

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayBall, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Use of the Platform
• Participation in Games
• Breach of these Terms

All rights in the Platform, including software, branding, and content, are owned by PlayBall.

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

By participating in Games, Users grant PlayBall the right to use photographs, videos, and related content for marketing and promotional purposes

PlayBall may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion, including for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraud or misuse
• Operational or security reasons

Users may lose access to bookings, credits, and benefits upon termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayBall’s liability shall be limited and shall not include indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Any disputes shall be subject to:

• UAE courts and/or
• Arbitration, at the discretion of PlayBall

PlayBall reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
